Hello!
I have been using the editor for some time now, and wanted to post what I have learned here:
Some bricks have gravity, and some bricks don't.
Gravity explained:
---------------------
bricks that have gravity, will fall down to any bricks beneath it... Unless it is the lowest brick with gravity on the screen.
The bricks that have gravity can be found in the Axle-B directory:
\AXLE-B\OBJECTS\GAMEPLAY\INTERNAL
BS_DESERT.bmp
BS_FOREST.bmp
BS_MOUNTAIN.bmp
Any bricks not in these 3 strip-images do NOT have gravity.
--------------------
The other bricks not in those strips, like crystal bricks, take more then one hit.
Also chests are like bricks, but can not be destroyed by the ball... Unless the ball is under the 'ICE' spell.
The chests don't have gravity, and you need to move the key out of the chest, or else the chest will fly off. You can then put gems or any items you like in the chest.
The eye bricks, that create the destructo beams don't have gravity.
-------------------
When designing your stages, always keep in mind that gravity bricks will fall into place once the game starts. It is a lot of fun to try different things.
Anyways,
I hope this helps.
Will post more.
Best,
Fry. |

Thanks for that info.
I also noticed that some behaviours in the editor effects the bricks that have gravity.
If you use the swap behaviour, and it is present in more then 2 bricks then they don't have gravity and they will exchange positions every now and then. |

Those path behaviours duplicate the brick it is on, and the square grid behaviour makes bricks go transparent.
I think the editor is to much work for me , but maybe it could be fun for someone who likes to figure things out. |

| There are behaviours that look like 2 golden arrows, they make the bricks in that row swing left and right or up and down, then they also don't have gravity. |
